TITLE: «Feast of Love»

WEATHRE: breexy, sunny

MOOD: Helplessly Hopeful

MUSIK: the songs and sounds of

children, their bright voices

SOOP: finely formed, with noodles

THOT: «It's a fine thing that i werk

from a situation toward a purpose,

acause i am blesst and able.»

TEXT: Amorning, Mothers' Day, i

cleaned my=self up, ate my gravied

grits and walkt into anothre cherch.

It was my former neighbour, WAYNE,

who knew me to see me. The Pastoress

herself greeted me warmly as i was

catching up with my neighbour; the

choir contained my client/friend

SHARON who also startled to see me.

{it isn't strange that i am foreknown

in Places of Worship, but that i get

there in the opening Time} This was

the Day i made with G & J...simply

from the force of travelling where

the Spirit leads. Praise & thanx be.

Tuèsdé, May 12th, °9...yesterday, i

werkt the Parish yard abof & beyond

the call of Duty--with the Possible

exception of having to turn away all

the persons who schtill believe they

can bring fresh cut Grass to the

facility. GARY was good to come and

tell me that he's gonna bring me yet

anothre home=cookt meal from VICKIE

when the Time allows. [He knows that

i am schtaying the extra hours.] Also,

MONICA was kind to fetch me homewise

after her cleaning werk; she taught me

evything i know about schweeping carpets.

{All the werkers are worthy of their

wage} Overmore~the sun was yet Out when

we travelled. Aday, i walkt back into

the centre of town for Lunch at the

cherch...Sausage Noodles with salad,

a plain fastnacht, two milky coffees

AND chocolate ice creme with whippt

dreme. I actually go there for the

Fine FELLOWSHIP, the prayer, and the

Giving Graces--i have an unnatural Averse

for the "clinged peaches". Sustain!

MY people also do as i do, going to the

Publik Liberry for simple comforts and

Relaxations on the brightness of the Day.

i chekt my e=mails & All my othre resources

while the carrels were filled with faster

Typists. There was a scratchy=throated man

ahind me, and a vocal bébé girl who made

the most wonderfull noises as WE conducted

Our inter=webbing. i made a great joke to

the Company of the effect,«Doesn't that

child Know that this is a Library?!»

The little ones were Designed for such a

good Day. She^ smiled me as i left...

i thoroughly enjoy filling out Employment

Apps under such conditions, acause ALL of

US are in the same=self leaky boat.

"Bread is good for the workers, and Wine

is an enlivener of the Spirit, BUT money

Provides an answer for everything."

prologue:

Tuèsdé, Avril 28th, +9...

Every=where, i run haphazardly into

my Clients. Such as Saterdé, when i

scored a free kraut=dog at the service

station where the GREEN GHOST received

her walking papres. i did promise to

talk up the weiner=van at werk AND to

pay for my next gustatory Indulgence.

[WE had the same things happen during

the bingo days; one couldn't schtride

the Appalachian Trail without bumping

into a gambler.] It was hot on the Yard,

busy but not crasy, turning away the

fresh=cut grass...GARY brang me a cold

bottle of brewed tea [i never Drink the

hot schtuff] and the Big Dipper shone

bright in the twilight as i walkt into

Town with jazz on kay's ish=pod.

Sundé, i toppt off my long=suffering

chicken soop with garlic, red onion &

medial Egg noodles. Not my best effort.

Then i kinda watcht bof the TVLAND show

and the finale of SOPRANOs. *out=black*

Wednèzdé, April 29th, °9...This was most

certainly a week for me! Shortly after i

opened the Parish Yard on Monday, the

'White Franciscan' walkt with a friend

to the picnic table betwixt the Liberry

and my boof. {This fine gentleman travels

the eastern parts of PENNSY in a white

robe & sandals, resembling with haer and

beard, Rebbe YESHUA; but he is a classical

Tauist...not a Taoist nor Maoist} He

lingered for a while with his text and

teaching [of his female student], but i

did not get the opportunity to meet him.

It was a moderate day of trimmings for

me AND skool=teacher NANCY was kind enuf

to lift me Home. Tuesdé: Vitamins! Aspirin!

Celery & Pretzles! i found time later in

the eve to marinate a new schplit chicken.

Aday~i barely misst a fone=call from the

Travelling Turtle, on account of i was

cooking my break=fast of a fried egg with

beef gravied grits. {of all=the=else, no

one can Say i don't feed my natural self}

Night=Light bulbs! These i scored afore i

boarded the college crowded bus to werk.

i haf the Xcellent nightvision but i like

to see Around my confines in the middle of

later Darknesses; small Blessings for a

tiny man in a tight habilement. *plug*

The yard was well attended for a Wezné,

yet i mangaged to keep up with the news on

the radidio about ARLEN changing, abruptly,

his Party affiliations. I'm pretty sure i

voted for him to be President, once. Less

the Never~i'll probly vote for him again

one of these days Acause he is one of the

principled ones in the Senate. *opinion*

As the dim settled on the Parish i serve,

my friend AND cleaning Companion MONICA

offered me a run into Town; it woulda been

simply unnatural for me to turn down the

chance to up=catch with her on the werld

and its wiles! In a '92 pick=up, no less.

Amorro~i'll take a hot showre and Conquer

the remainder of Life which presents.

Meanwhile, i am well back at my chosen werk

a busy parish=yard to a slow starting Season!

Yesterdé, i submitted an Application for

at the Parish Yard, and in entertaining the

vocal, thotful aids of my brothres & sisters.

Regardless=of=much~i find the Ones who

care for me are close to hand, including also

NANCY, my Supervisor, who granted me more

werk...and JEFF, my room=leaser, who has the

TEXT: Tuesday, March 31st, and9...Altho i wake

with berds & sun, i am schtill behind of much!

The days which lengthen toward the High Holydés

also increase in broad and recurring troubles.

Yet~no courage has left me, acause i am werking

Teach me to become semi=soluble in a Time of war.

Friday, March 13th, °9...

i used to think the following were just

Xpressions. Not no more.

There's more month than Money.

We live from paycheque to paycheque.

One can choose between Food & medicine.

Oh, never mind~the Patriarch had the

perfect werds for it,"Things are Tough

all over." {Wise for one so Young}

Reposit: the Girls are so busy showing

houses on their turfs, they can

hardly be expected to call me more

than three (3) times a week.

[it's a real=estate joke^] And

speaking of fone=calls...i can

honestly say, when the Firemen ring

or the Sheriffs, or the benevolent

association of County Aggregates,

that,"No---Hane is not here." [^edited>]

Besides which~they always fone

when i'm trying 2 write a cogent and

scintillating Glow entry. Maybe not

this one...but your call may be

recorded 4 future sales purposes.

March 17th, °5^ Futurific Reposit: [edited]

Wednesday, March 19th, °8...nearly

three (3) years later & just as wet!

WILY WILLY WISITS WALLEY: i am one

of the fortunate vagabonds who meandered

into that west=end COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL

arena where BILLY BLYTHE gave a speech

in favour of his wife, while reminiscing

wistfully about his own Term in Office.

{i didn't schtay for the whole monologue}

Oh! And i met a very nice yoga instructor

while i waited. History: i attended an

ELO concert in that same building when

i was a mere child & Yes, i inhaled...

The dé was moist, cool and grayly dreary.

But i had to wandre on to buy a brisket.

Modern day: Monday, March 16th, +9...

On my way to werk Saterdé, i found a

dollar on the pavement outside the grox

schtore. And as much as i wanted to cram

it in my own pocket, i lookt around and

askt after two women if they'd lost one.

Sure enuf, the woman just getting into

her auto had droppt it. Honesty--i'll haf

to keep cultivating it for the time being.

Werk was busy until dusk...but not every

body in the Parish knew i was open. It

was a cool dark walk back to the N'hood

where i nearly live. ['tho i walk thru

a shadowy walley, i'll take the extra

hours.] Aday was not nearly as well

attended by customers but the new guys

contracted for the roll=offs are cool.

No brisket this year; i'm just finishing

off a can of 'meatball stew'. Irish!
